Birdfeeding
Today is mild, overcast, and breezy. I saw two sparrows copulating in the forest garden earlier today. Lots of mourning doves and brown-headed cowbirds around too. I fed the birds, and I'll need more birdseed soon.
In the forest garden, my mayapples are sprouting -- three umbrellas! -- and I think the bluebells are coming up. No sign of the trilliums or Solomon's seal though. The hostas are well up already.
