Wednesday Yardening
Today is sunny, breezy, and warm. I fed the birds. I saw a house finch and a blackbird at the feeder today.
We picked up sticks from the area between the house and the driveway. That will later need to be brush-trimmed, raked, and sown with grass seed. But it looks much better now. We filled a whole dumpster with sticks. We also spent 15-20 minutes digging out an iron stake that was poking up a couple inches above the ground. Good thing we found that before the mower did.
We accomplished a lot more than usual for a first yardening day of the year -- probably about twice our typical amount, because of the Iron Stake of Doom. I am exhausted. But I feel very accomplished! Yay. Yay. Go us!
