The weather has been variable here. Today it's calm and overcast. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, several cardinals, some dark-eyed juncoes, two grackles, and a house finch. Leafing out: crocus, blue grape hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, miniature iris, peonies, daylilies. In bloom: snowdrops, eranthis.
