I thought poetry was a typical part of the inauguration, but apparently it's not done very often. I have zero interest in running for office, but if I needed an inauguration poem, I think I'd tap ozarque for that.
Cool! I've liked what I've seen of hers.

I need to post about this Inauguration; I was armwavy over Warren until I saw who'll be giving the last word, and from then on I've felt much better. (And squishy feelings are, of course, the only way to decide in political matters. *laugh at myself*)
Just because I think Obama will make a good president doesn't mean I like all the people he's working with or all the decisions he makes. I just think he has a high chance of not making things drastically worse and a fair chance of making things better.

*nod* Oh, me neither. The thing is, I've seen a fair number of people saying that in order to think well of him they do have to like all the people he works with and every decision he makes, and, well, I don't know how useful such a position will be for anyone. But anyway; in the intervening time I wrote my post.
