It takes time for the women
who have become werewolves
to adjust to their new circumstances,
but they're learning and growing
and making progress now.
It has been years since Lorina
felt good enough to work regularly,
to hold down a real job instead of just
working from home on the good days.
She has enough good days now
to refresh her credentials and apply
for a job at the local college, which can
always use administrative assistants.
Alexandria concludes her maternity leave
and goes back to work as a graphic designer.
She still does the usual projects, but now,
she also designs murals for wolf habitats
in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries.
Amanda goes back to college,
picking up her major in Linguistics
with a minor in Cultural Studies.
She still loves Europe, but she
doesn't tell anyone that what
she really wants to study now
is the lore of werewolves.
For a few days each month,
the moon may take its toll,
but on the whole it leaves
these women waxing strong.
