Had I been ten years younger than I am, I'm sure I'd have been one of them too.
Since I was a member of the last pre-computer generation to reach college age without access to computers, I spent my pre-college free time reading folklore, fairy tales, and finally science fiction and fantasy.
Discovering The Hobbit during my senior year was a magical experience.
