Toward Activity Scouts

We're not there yet, but we're getting closer.  Boy Scouts will start accepting girls

Regrettably the Girl Scouts have complained about this.  Frankly, I think they should be grateful to have someone else available for the tomboys they don't like and barely tolerate.

I was extremely disappointed with the girl scouts. When I joined them, I thought they'd be just like the boy scouts but nowhere near. Although I stuck through Brownies simply because I enjoyed their handicrafts, I left the Juniors when all we ever seemed to do was practice singing Xmas carols the two months I attended.
During all that time, not a single word about camping, outdoor life, or living in the wilderness was ever uttered by any of the girl scout leaders that I came into contact with.

The boy scouts that I knew of got to do real handicrafts such as working with leather (and not our sissy stuff that landed in the trash after a week or two) and they also got to go camping.

I also agree with you that they barely tolerate the tomboys amongst us.
