Good News

Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

What good news have you had recently? Are you anticipating any more?

I actually had something amazing happen to me this evening.
Every so often I go treasure hunting at the local Goodwill stores.
Something gave me a last minute yen to go and I arrived about ten minutes before closing. I just "knew" I'd find a treasure!
Normally I only look through the jewelry but tonight I also decided to have a look at the linens.
On the way to the linens, I found a coat, a LEATHER coat, and it was in my size! It was even in good shape too.
Usually I don't bother looking through the clothing since there's seldom anything in my size but the coat fits!
Best of all, it only cost $7!
And--yes!--I also found some jewelry!
Not a bad shopping trip for only ten minutes.

I get them every so often but I seldom figure out quickly enough what it is that I need to do. This is one of those rare times when it clicked.
