Saturday Yardening

After the street fair, I had enough energy for one round.  I pulled weeds around about half of the barrel garden, which is a lot.

The septic garden looks a lot better after I weeded it. Still need to get in and cut out the burdock though. The barrel garden is more visible already.

May I suggest using cardboard around your plants to keep the weeds out?
I always lay cardboard down first before I put mulch on top of it. Keeps the tougher weeds from coming up through the mulch.
