Alex and Ash like to visit
the Alpha Vector. They are
guests in this dimension, and
that makes them happy.
It's calm and quiet there,
yet full of affection, and
nobody looks at them funny
for showing no interest in sex.
They can stroll through the streets
while holding hands, and never
attract a bit of attention.
They can stop at a café
without anyone assuming that
just because they are together,
they must be having sex.
They can smile at people
wearing hats and scarves striped
in combinations of black, gray,
purple, white, green, and yellow --
the asexual, aromantic, and agender
all drifting together in the autumn rain
like daubs of paint on a palette.
Now and then other colors float by,
the pink-blue-white of heterosexuals
and the rainbow-laced queers in pairs,
since nowhere is ever all one way, but
that's okay. They belong too.
Alex and Ash love being able to go out
in public and just be themselves.
They didn't expect to find a place
like this, but If there's one thing
Schrodinger's Heroes know,
it's this: when it comes
to the Alpha Vector,
all bets are off.

Ace pride scarves may be striped lengthwise or crosswise. Pride hats are usually striped crosswise.
I could not find specific patterns for these scarves. However, it's straightforward to adapt any striped pattern to this purpose. Explore patterns for knit crosswise stripes (both scarf and hat), knit lengthwise stripes, crochet horizontal stripes, and crochet horizontal stripes. If you want to be subtle, you can hide it in the sky as in this scarf.
