Garden Photos 6-22-17 Nests

These are more pictures from Thursday.


The cardinal nest is empty.  :(  As we have had some very blustery days and I've seen many eggs on the ground, I surmise that the wind knocked out the egg.
This is now empty.

The baby robins have fledged.  That is three successful fledges, and they usually lay four eggs, so quite a good rate.

... also now empty.  Since I saw no sign of predation and the babies were nearly ready to leave the last time I saw them, I gather that the mother successfully raised several bunnies.
