... I just checked out the reviews on Amazon and I think it'll have to go on my wishlist, though! I was especially intrigued by the one written by a children's book writer, the idea that it is a book useful to writers in any genre is quite appealing!

I based the design of _Composing Magic_ on the kind of creative writing resource that I find useful, and I'm delighted by the consistent feedback that it's clear and effective. I like writing books with plenty of examples and exercises, especially if some of them are a little whimsical.
As for finding my book in your local library -- try requesting it. Some libraries have a policy of buying books based on reader requests. You might even print off the Amazon.com reviews and send them with your letter. Much the same applies to bookstores; if people keep asking for a particular item or category, the store is more likely to offer it.
