Round 1, I planted jack-in-the-pulpit, woodland phlox, yellow violet, and two Virginia bluebells in the woodland garden. The latter are dormant by now, but hopefully they will bloom next spring. :D My parents have those and the phlox all over everywhere. I'm not sure which variety the yellow violet is.
EDIT 5/16/17: Round 2, I planted a forked aster in the prairie garden. This was in a gallon pot, thus took a shovel to dig the hole, so I only planted one thing this round.
EDIT 5/16/17: Round 3, I planted a smooth aster and a celandine poppy in the prairie garden. This completes planting the first flat of things from the native plant sale.
The black raspberries and the mulberry trees have green fruit on them now.
In the heated air, the heavy scent of the peonies hangs in a sweet perfume. The breeze carries it twenty or thirty feet downwind, and the big white blossoms bob up and down. It's beautiful.
EDIT 5/16/17: Round 4, I planted two butterfly weeds, one by the barrel garden and another in the septic garden. I planted a compass plant and a Missouri ironweed in the prairie garden. I put out more morning glory seeds around the support wire for the telephone pole, and also some moonflower seeds there and in the barrel garden.
As it is now dusk, I am done planting for today. I completed one flat and started another. \o/

:D The pictures look pretty.
>> Doesn't it increase through underground roots though?<<
I don't know. I haven't grown it before. Comfrey certainly does.

So far, nothing is eating it, so that's a plus.
