Unsold Poems from the January 24, 2017 Poetry Fishbowl

The following poems from the January 24, 2017 Poetry Fishbowl are currently available. Poems may be sponsored via PayPal -- there's a permanent donation button on my LiveJournal profile page -- or you can write to me and discuss other methods.

There are still verses left in the linkback poems "Testing the Metal," "Dangerous Refuges," "The Marble and the Sculptor," "Picking Up the Litter," and "The Golden Peaches of Peace."  Linking to this page will reveal new verses in whichever poem you request.

"Biospheric Conditions"
I turned five one-word prompts from Dreamwidth into the sestina "Biospheric Conditions," which is all about the connections between seemingly different things. The flavor is almost scientific liturgy, except it gets kind of lascivious in parts.
39 lines, Buy It Now = $15

"Changing Your Nature"
Your change prompt inspired the poem "Changing Your Nature," which is written in unrhymed tercets. It's about personal change from the perspective that nature is all about change.
12 lines, Buy It Now = $10

"Fantastic Adaptations"
A DW prompt inspired the free-verse poem "Fantastic Adaptations." It explores four species and their clever appropriation of human resources.
41 lines, Buy It Now = $20

"Into a Relationship"
Your prompt about romancing nature inspired the poem "Into a Relationship," which is written in unrhymed quatrains. Thoughts on romance and nature reflect each other. Yes, I wrote pr0n for demisexual naturalists. Have fun with that.
40 lines, Buy It Now = $15

"Leaves Upon the Water"
Your pond prompt turned into a litany of woody wetland plants in autumn. "Leaves Upon the Water" is written in free verse.
42 lines, Buy It Now = $20

"Not So Black"
A DW prompt about the Pine Barrens inspired the free-verse poem "Not So Black." It looks at the history and hints of the Jersey Devil.
20 lines, Buy It Now = $10

"owl feathers"
Your owl prompt inspired the free-verse poem "owl feathers." It's a quiet bit of imagery about owls hunting.
6 lines, Buy It Now = $5

"The Smell of Purple"
A lilac prompt on DW inspired the free-verse poem "The Smell of Purple." It's a bit of synaesthesia about color, smell, and symbolism.
23 lines, Buy It Now = $10

"Violet Surprises"
A flower prompt on DW inspired the poem "Violet Surprises." It's basically a description of their colors in spring.
22 lines, Buy It Now = $10

"weather painting"
Your rain prompt inspired the free-verse poem "weather painting." It takes an artistic look at several forms of precipitation.
16 lines, Buy It Now = $10
