Profit Over People

This article about undisclosed chemical contaminants in groundwater is a crystal-clear demonstration of how American values profit over people. It is more important that a company's "proprietary information" be protected than that water be protected or injured people given information that affects their health. Nor is the company considered at fault for such harm to either.

And to think America used to be a country that helped poor countries get access to potable water.
