My crockpot gets used for one thing, continuously, during the holidays. Hot apple cider.

I love hot apple cider. Have you tried it with a dollop of caramel syrup?

We were walking down the sidewalk one cold winter day, and there was a little pastry shop that was giving away free samples of caramel apple cider. We took one taste and promptly bought two full-size servings. Murrrr... it is like a caramel apple in liquid form. Look for the kind of syrup that is intended for flavoring coffee or Italian soda, rather than pouring over ice cream.
