Now that was an excellent laugh!
:^D
I hope you won't mind if I boost the signal on this--it's too good not to share.

It's scary because I first heard the meme about George W, where I felt it was fair. He'd been governor of Texas - a not very challenging post, the Texas governor has relatively limited powers. He'd otherwise wandered from one failure to the next.

I saw it seized for Obama, probably in revenge, which, to me, is another sign of how crazy our nation has become in the political arena. Obama may have been in line for a measure of crap from the opposition, but "incompetent" was not a term that deserved to stick other than with laughable irony or sarcasm.

But here we have another guy, failure at everything except being a BSD.

(BSD? I saw an article about traders at financial companies who were called BSDs. Their attitude was, "If I need X million, and I have Y assets of type Z, the quants might say that the value is anything they like, I know each one is valued at X million divided by Y, less my commission and bonus." BSD stood big, swinging detective. Or something. I sometimes get these things confused.)

You wonder if someone's going to twig to how many big hopes are empty suits who've been rallied around.
Tee hee hee.
