The Cheap Pantry

seidhr has has posted over on cheap_cookin a very long, very useful list about how to stock your pantry and freezer so that you can eat well on a tight budget. Given the current economy, I figured some of you might benefit from this information.

Heh. This is even good for people who need to stretch their money in ordinary economic times.
*LOL*

I clicked on the list, intending to send it to my younger daughter who is living on her own on a fixed budget that provides little wiggle room, only to crack up laughing and close it.

That list wouldn't help her a bit. It depends on the concept of being willing to cook from scratch with raw ingredients! hehehehe

I guess it's back to ramen soup over instant mashed potatoes for her! That is, when she isn't eating her newest fascination of peanut butter and popcorn sandwiches. (no, that isn't a typo)
Fantastic post about the subject. Mind if I repost this to my journal with appropriate attribution?
I don't mind, but seidhr is the one to ask if you want to repost the original material.
