We've had a mix of rain and sun. Today looks nice. I am caught up on current planting, although there's a ton of other stuff to do. Seen at the bird feeders this week: small flock of sparrows, several mourning doves, a pair of courting cardinals, cowbirds, and grackles. Currently blooming: violets, honeysuckle, zinnias, petunias, marigolds, million bells, moss rose, johnny jump ups, iris, peonies, pink things and purple things in the wildflower garden. Columbines and poppies are almost done.
