To my conservative friends...

... I hear that McCain gave a classy concession speech. Bravo.

Now, what can I do to help you feel safe and heard?

I want America to be balanced and whole again. I want all of us to be part of that. I'm hoping that Obama will stick to what he said (that I gakked from puffbird's page) earlier tonight:

"To those of you whose support I have not won, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hope to earn your respect, and I will be your president, too."

I thought less well of his supporters who booed at the mention of Obama.

It would be nice if Obama really can start healing the rift that has occurred.

Yes, I noticed he discouraged that behavior quickly, too. I may not have supported McCain or his politics, but his concession was right on, if stunningly early.
