Thursday's Yardening

Today I transplanted some black raspberries closer to the fence in the ritual meadow.

The pear tree is starting to bloom.

My own pear tree is tuning up to bloom heavily this year!
The local area is gorgeous this year with all the seedling Bradford pear trees blooming in every fence row and vacant lot. People keep mentioning all the wild flowering trees and I keep telling them what they are.
And we still have the Redbuds to live through!
{{{Happy sigh!}}}

I hope you will take the time to find yourself some Spring Beauties to transplant into your yard. These tiny delicate flowers are perennial and native to the US.
:^)

Spring Beauties grow wild in my parents' yard. I have different flowers here. But if I see some available, I might give it a try.
