The snow has melted and it's muddy here. Seen at the bird feeders this week: large flock of sparrows, several mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, a squirrel, a downy woodpecker, a red-bellied woodpecker, and a house finch. Snowdrops, crocus, and daffodils are sprouting. Thanks to some tree trimmers, I now have a huge pile of mulch to work with, so I've started spreading that around. Yay!
