Good News

Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

The good news is that Nicco's kidneys have recovered, his thyroid is under control and he's gaining weight, so he'll live a good few years yet.

It's a win, granted it's a win by virtue of the fact the bad thing didn't happen, but none-the-less, it's a win.

My son isn't cancelling his February visit because I'm unimportant to him, he's cancelling because his mom is sick and demanding he play care-giver.

The good news here is that the tornadoes settled down into an ordinary, though out of season, thunderstorm last night. Maybe some of the people the storm woke up can afford to help those who weren't so lucky!

We had a good Christmas! :D We saw the Hunger Games movie, my husband and boyfriend made delicious carrot soup, we had dinner with friends, and everything is okay.

This is the first good Christmas we've had since 2008 or so. It feels so good.
