There will be a Poetry Fishbowl on Tuesday, November 3 with a theme of "I want my future back!" Mark your calendar and come give me prompts. NOTE: November is voting time in some states. If you vote, post "I voted" to the linkback poem to claim your verse. If you volunteer as poll station support staff or the like, contact me and I'll see about getting you a perk poem in thanks.

Lovely fall weather here, with some days of rain. I have the small-bag bulbs all planted, and about to start on the ~fifty mixed tulips for landscaping. Go me. Portulaca, ice flowers, and frost asters are blooming. Seen at the bird feeders this week: pair of cardinals, sparrows, dark-eyed juncoes.
