The Trauma of Israel

This article succinctly explains why Israel is a danger to itself and others.

Based on this analysis, Avigail Abarbanel believes “Israel cannot be reasoned with”, that it “is a traumatised society and it is therefore very dangerous.” Applying family therapy models, she compares Israel to the abusive husband, the Palestinians to the abused wife and the United States to the enabling neighbor.

thank you for a short and concise reply.

Some old films have been rediscovered from 1913, back when most folks there considered themselves citizens of the Ottoman Empire. The TV documentary explained how the Israeli/Arab friction started 100 years ago as Jewish refugees formed cities and infrastructure. Yes, refugees from oppression such as Russian Pogroms. WW II, the Holocaust and other anti-antisemitism only reinforced the NEED for a place for Jews to flee when the rest of the world expels us.
Jews have expressed a need for a place of their own. However, when they use that to hurt other people, that's not okay. When they replay the specific methods used against them such as ghettos and walls, I find that even more troubling.
me, too.
