Weather here is cooler and somewhat drier. Sweet alyssum, torenia, blue lobelia, petunias, portulaca, ice flowers, clover, daylilies, golden raintree, shasta daisies, and echinacea are blooming. Mulberries and black raspberries have ripe fruit, but they're winding down now. Blackberries and apples have green fruit, and so does the plum tree for the first time. We finished removing the old half-barrel, stacked the concrete blocks, and put the new half-barrel in place. It still needs to be filled, though.
