New Crowdfunding Project: "Brown Girl in the Ring"
The half-price sale in Schrodinger's Heroes has concluded. The sale page has links to sponsored poems. There's also a poll to reveal one verse of an open epic with some pocket change in the general fund.
The Crowdfunding Creative Jam also ran this weekend. Check out my gather post of what I wrote and what other folks wrote to my prompts.
Poetry in Microfunding:
"These Tiny Little Steps" belongs to Frankenstein's Family. When Adam is seven and a half, he's a handful for his fathers to keep up with. "Never Laid Open" belongs to Polychrome Heroics, in the Antimatter & Stalwart Stan thread. It follows their adversary Shiv as he struggles to adapt to prison life. "The Injury That Provokes It" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. (Former officer) R. Andrew Tanner faces his injuries after a firearm accident.

Weather here has been soggy. Sweet alyssum, torenia, blue lobelia, petunias, portulaca, ice flowers, clover, and daylilies are blooming. Mulberries have ripe fruit. Black raspberries and apples have green fruit. I think. I haven't been outside much for all the raaaaaain. But hey, my new barrel is all plumped up and no longer has eighth-inch cracks between the staves. :D
