Energy Work

Similar exercises appear in many resources, but these are AMAZINGLY more clear with the illustrations added.  This version is visual, as most commonly described.

However, understand that not everyone with mystical perceptives has the visual mode.  It can manifest through any of your senses and will usually match your dominant sensory mode.  Some people have more than one mystical sense, and some have one that just doesn't match a physical sense -- sometimes called Sixth Sense.  I once spent a whole afternoon translating stuff from visual to audio mode for a musician friend.

Huh! Regardless of whether or not I believe such work is possible, the visualizations certainly are far clearer than I can imagine any verbal* description being— although the synergy of visual+text would certainly be even more valuable.

* meaning of course "in words", not "in speech" — Ye Olde Pedant ;-)

You can always test whether it works for you, giving or receiving. As with most things, some people can do energy work and others can't; receiving it also works great for some, so-so for some, and others not at all. However, the meditation and prayer aspects have an even wider range; most people can learn to do those well enough to get something out of it.

So that way, you know what folks are aiming for, whether or not it works.
Not just that, but I was supposing that there might be descriptions of what to be focusing on or whatever for the energy worker.
Good, detailed directions for an exercise will include that. Shorthand ones usually do not. Thus the video would be most useful as an illustration for separate exercise texts. It seems to be meant as a teaser for some kind of program they're teaching, but for anyone already familiar with metaphysics, it stands alone just fine.

Just to nutshell the first item:
Your nervous system runs throughout your body and it has areas of greater neural density. So too, your energy runs along very similar paths. Your hands have a great deal of nerves so that you can feel what you are touching. The chakra system along your spine extends into the rest of your body. So you have smaller chakras in your palms and tiny ones in your finger tips. They allow you to feel energy outside yourself and to direct your own energy. You can focus attention and energy in your palms by touching them and concentrating on what you want the energy to do, for example, build up into a ball or project outward to someone else. If you point your palms toward each other, you may feel this as a 'fuzzy' or 'springy' sphere and/or as heat. If you have visuals then it usually looks like a glow, as illustrated in the video. For sound, most people hear energy as a buzz or hum.
