First Flowers

 My snowdrops are blooming.  Tulips, daffodils, naked ladies, and daylilies are sprouted.  So is the motherwort and chives.  Maple buds are swelling.

naked ladies? is that a type of iris?
Do yours flower in spring? Ours are out now too - in autumn.
The leaves come up in spring, then die back in summer. In late summer, the flower stalks come up alone and bloom. They look like weird little aliens until they open.
Wow! I am waiting for a lawn, still snow covered other than the path. Thinking about planting this year. In containers.
