Poetry in Microfunding:
"Often Buried Deep" belongs to the series An Army of One. It follows Astin on the trader's loop. "Settled" is the third piece of the Polychrome Heroics triptych about the fight at SPOON. It has five new verses, with Aidan and Danso discussing nightmares.

It's been warm here. Tulips and daffodils are starting to poke out of the ground, at what I consider a reasonable time rather than popping in January or February like the last several years. I suspect we'll get another cold snap, but for now it's really nice out. At first the ground was too soggy to walk on. Yesterday it had dried enough that I managed to pick up some logs. Today we're hoping to do more of that. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: sparrows, male and female cardinals, a few mourning doves. I have also seen rabbits and a squirrel.
