I've seen those before, but I thought they were a one of a kind thing. Had no idea they were being sold. I wish I could afford a pair!

Even better idea: Weta legs designed to give able-bodied people something similar to those carbon-fiber running legs for amputees. Can you imagine having digitigrade legs and being able to run at fast speeds without tiring out very easily? Basically leaping forward with every step! Wouldn't that be cool? It'd be like something out of a literal dream.
Now I am wondering if they could be modified for amputees. Look at the original Weta Legs: the hock is very low to the ground. With less human leg in the way, you could have a higher hock with closer to natural proportions.
Depressingly, they didn't get enough pre-orders and cancelled the commercial run a few months later. Alas!
