My Owl Has Insomnia

He is out there going "hoo ... hoo ... hoo" at 2:48 PM with the sharp winter sun in  the sky.  I feel so sorry for him.

Awww! Poor wol! :o)

Up in the Orkneys, the owls have to fly and hunt in daylight in Summer because there is no night to speak of. This makes for great owl watching.
Great owl watching, but I imagine it sucks for the owls.
Although their prey have to be out in daylight too, so I guess it balances out.
