New Printer

I have obtained a new printer.  It is a little faster than the old one, otherwise fairly similar.  I'm surprise how noticeable the change is -- from 32 pages/minute to 40 when in action.

Yay for new printers!
woo hoo!
Yah, new stuff!

And, also, Happy New Year, wishing you a great one...

I need to get a new printer, myself. Do you recommend any model in particular?
Happy New Year to you too.

I have been very pleased with the Brother brand. I'm using their laser duplex models meant for small office use, because I'll run off a hundred or few pages a month, and for the year-end perks it's thousands. The 2014 full-year collection is 1001 pages. The new printer is the HL-5450DN model. Look at the features and figure out what you need, though -- they have a very nice range from simple to complex.

We have a Canon color printer. It does a decent job, but is far more of a computer that makes pages than a printer that talks to a computer. So it flakes out on me sometimes. It probably behaves better for ordinary people.
