Solar-powered Art

This guy draws with sunlight.  It's a very cheap way to make art.  All you need is a sunny day, a magnifying glass, and a flat piece of wood.  Works on paper too, but I don't think that would keep as well.  Sycamore or birch bark, however, would probably work.

Reminds me of that 3D printer that uses sand and sunlight to print stuff out of glass by melting the sand.
I have not seen that but it sounds awesome.

Fascinating.
It's be interesting for a desert tribe to have something like that, and make all their bowls and jars and a bunch of other stuff out of solar sinter glass.
That would be awesome. LOL over in Terramagne someone is probably doing that.
