Hero Forge

Hero Forge is now open for business.  This was a crowdfunded project that has just launched.  The idea is to let people make customized character figures using a 3D printer.  It looks pretty cool for what it's meant to be.

I couldn't find an estimated price list though.  Also it seems aimed completely at gaming; the noncommercial use and copyright terms make it murky as a means of manifesting characters you illustrate or write about, and you shouldn't use it to make customized figures for a game prototype.  This would be more useful if they had an option for people who want to do more than make gaming toys.

EDIT: Apparently pricing is available through a bottom link that I'm not seeing (part of the page garbles).
The 1" tall, standard mini fig for tabletop systems, NOT suitable for painting (rough details) $15
The 1" dall DETAIL minifig, suitable for painting, $25
Larger figures at 3" and 6" go up to $245

There's a set of links at the bottom of the page, [you need to scroll down] .. standard miniature is $15, ultra detailed is $25 and double and quad sized and bigger goes up to $245.

Looks fun though, even if it is aimed at gamers
I did check the bottom of the page, and there is no pricing link visible to me, but there is garble so I assume it is under that somewhere. Thanks for adding this information; I have edited it into the post.
That's useful, thanks.
Interesting idea, but the page won't even load on our computer, even though our browser SHOULD work with it. I think our computer is just too old for the graphics or something? *spreads hands*

It's possible your computer is too old. They're using a fancy graphic interface -- well, they do need one to build a custom model online. Most of the sites with a fancy interface are just screwing around with it, but here it's justified. Does limit their customer base though.
