There's a world of little girls who really ought to be told things like that... one generation, two at tops, and patriarchy would be history. After all, there's just as many women as men. If every time some booger-brained young boy started that 'girls can't..' crap he got slapped down, hard, there'd be a lot less grown men later on who'd be full of the patriarchal BS. [children, after all, learn from their peers much better than they do from adults.]

Sadly, for every girl that goes on to be a strong independently-minded hell-raiser... there's a hundred more who get forced into the twin-set&pearls mentality.
