You know, I swear I could probably cook up a home-brew RPG system for your world... although exactly what the point of that would be I'm not sure. Though, it'd be fun if you're like me and enjoy that kind of thing [which admittedly, not many are.]

*laugh*

That's how I got into AD&D in high school, my friends wanted to play in my writing world -- Hallelaine at the time, my main fantasy universe. I've learned how to take a game engine I like and adapt it.

For Terramagne, I'm using Truth & Justice to make the character sheets. It's not perfect but it's a good match and would play fine. If you want to invent something else, feel free. I've already had one person ask me for permission to roleplay in Terramagne.

While PDQ (the rule system for T&J) appears to use a 2-point scale (implying the dice are probably 2d6 + modifiers), these stat descriptions could also probably work under FUDGE rules with some scale adjustment. BESM is also doable on a D10 or D20 scale, though you'd essentially be free-forming abilities and just using the basic conflict-resolution rules.

I had been working on a really simple RPG where the rules for character creation, gameplay, and conflict resolution are supposed to fit on one or two pages (so a single double-sided sheet), and example characters are in an appendix. However, I kind of stalled out after a while and haven't worked on it in a couple of years. But it would have been another storytelling game with free-form abilities and very few numbers.

Yes, they are. Me, I like D&D with all the funny dice. I collect dice. I have some really oddball ones.

I have BESM too.

Not a bad idea, especially for a pickup game. I tend to like engines that are simple to play, although more flexibility in fine-tuning abilities would be desirable.
