... did not ask me about my xenolinguistic ability to scream the raptor's threats back at her, nor did it ask me about my ability to improvise weapons from anything that can be pried loose. Besides, sheesh, I have a bunk bed and a chained predator. All I have to do is dodge like frenzy while tangling the terrible lizard around the poles. Then just apply a pillow and wait for the twitching to stop.

Why do you have a bunk bed?

I don't really have one. I don't have a velociraptor either.

Frankly, though, I found the percentage chance of surviving a zombie apocalypse quiz much more relevant. *silly grin*

Hmm...

1) While some cyborgs can function with their implants fried, most can't. The integrated machinery is usually crucial to creature function.
2) Vampires are highly combustible. It only takes a spark to light them on fire, and fire destroys them. So the chance of total combustion from an electronic short is fairly good.
Of course, that might also set the bunk bed on fire, which could be a problem. But I would logically be using the pillow as an improvised shield anyhow, so I'd have something to muff out any fire that was somewhere it shouldn't be.

I know they're vulnerable to sunlight, but I don't think normal electricity would hurt them. They have to drink blood, after all, which keeps them moist. Personally, if the mythological kind of vampires were real, I think the sunlight would give them severe burns, but I doubt they'd catch on fire.
What if the pillow catches fire?
