Someone else has probably already mentioned this typo to you:
"Without a word, he got up from the tablea"
Or is the 'a' on the end of table supposed to be there?
You are so good at handling delicate relationship issues.
Most writers never make as good a job of it as you do.

Fixed.

If you see typos in my work, please do mention them. Sometimes if one person does, I don't always have time to fix it immediately and may forget. Then it helps to have someone else catch it later.

I love exploring the controversial, complicated stuff. Victor and Igor are having a really hard time because the social roles prescribed for both of them suck, so they've had to make their own way; and then they wound up in an unconventional relationship with no road map. But they are diligent about seeking solutions, so it's getting better.
