As for selecting partners... part of the yea or nay decision on a given potential partner is *getting to know* that partner well. Simply having time together is a good start, but actually having *meaningful conversations* is huge... but where to start?

My partner found us the UnGame. It's actually fairly old (1972); it's basically a series of flash cards with questions as discussion topics. We used it extensively early on, and have been using it recently as a reconnecting tool... you can get it directly from the creator here. There's a board game version, one for kids, for families, and for older and younger couples in addition to the general one. Full disclosure: Just a very satisfied customer. :)

I agree. Intellectual Foreplay is handy for that.
