Poetry Fishbowl Report for January 21, 2014

The bonus theme was Walking the Beat.  I worked from 12:30 AM to 3 AM, so about 12 hours 30 minutes allowing for breaks.  It got off to a slow start because I didn't get any prompts for over an hour.  Participation was low, with only 10 prompters.  There were 27 comments on LiveJournal and another 10 on Dreamwidth.

I wrote 8 poems on Tuesday and another 3 later, all free verse.  Some were single-prompt, others a combination.  They ran long, although I had some below epic length.  There were no new prompters or donors.

Read some poetry!
The following poems from the February 2013 Poetry Fishbowl have been posted:
"Every Step Toward the Goal"
"Green Eyes"
"A Long Way to Fall"
"Silence Is Golden"
"Unspoken Vows"

Buy Some Poetry!
If you plan to sponsor some poetry but haven't made up your mind yet, read the list of unsold poems from the bonus fishbowl. That includes the title, length, price, and the original thumbnail description for the poems still available.

All sponsored poems have been posted.  Backchannel copies have been sent to the respective prompters.  Donors this session included: janetmiles, Anthony & Shirley Barrette.

The Poetry Fishbowl project also has a permanent landing page.
