I used to skim LJ over my lunch hour, mentally compose commenting and posts in the afternoon, and post them up in the evenings. But now that they've banned LJ at work, my whole posting rhythm is thrown off. And, look! I've slipped down on your list! Oh noes!

(I'll be making an effort to post and comment more often. LJ is such a great tool for keeping in touch with people. But, like most things, it only works when you work it...)

I'm sorry to hear about work banning LJ. Yes, it can be a time sink if you let it, but it's also a tremendous networking resource.

I'd love to have more comments from you. We miss you. Any chance of getting you and your sweetie over here to visit some time?

This weekend would work for us. There's a Common Grounds meeting on Sunday that usually draws a goodly handful of local Pagans, and we're doing a Year-and-a-Day Class following that, on the topic of special skils such as Tarot, healing, stone magic, etc. I know you and Woof have plenty of experience; you'd be welcome to share skills if you're interested. We have someone from the St. Louis area who came for the first time to the last Common Grounds meeting, but I don't know if she'll be able to come this time. Anyhow, we'd love to see you! Please let us know if this looks like it'll work out.

I don't often comment though I do read your posts both on your journal and in several communities. Thank you for your many posts on the environment. I have been enjoying clicking through to the articles you mention. We don't know each other though, of course, you are well known in a public sense. I am in awe of your energy and productivity and can only wish that I had been born with something similar. In any case I really do appreciate your prolific posting.

Also thank you for the feedback. It really helps to know what part of my content is really reaching people -- both the heavy-duty original stuff, and the relays.

My energy does vary. Some days I'm on fire; others I have to drag myself through the minimum. But my productivity is on the high side, both on blogging and on articles, poems, stories, etc. Part of that is innate, but much is sheer practice. On several occasions, I've taken on a new gig -- like when I joined the Grey School -- that gave me massively more practice in something, which then boosted my speed and/or other skills. Good practice makes good progress.
