I have actually just started reading the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books again; we read the first book when it originally came out but didn't pursue the series, and I look forward to getting the third book from the library.

I also must concur on the hazards of wandering on the ice. Although the roads are clear now, there's a lot of slush and water over slick ice now from the melting. My usual morning walk was a miserable slip-slide-rebalance, and my legs were strong today!

It's good to see these guys for Christmas poetry.

It can be really hard. I'm all but untrippable myself, and wet glaze ice can still dump me on my tail. If it's cold and dry, I can walk on it with my super-balance.
