Oh, I loved how Penn was able to spot *where* the trick must have happened, but had to admit he had absolutely no idea *how*. That's cool - it's engineering.
Yeah, that was my favorite too. The two things I love most in magic are:

1) When someone uses a very simple trick in a brilliant way. My benchmark for this is a wizard reaching into a cloud of tiny bubbles and producing a marble. I knew exactly what he was doing, but the presentation was pure magic.

2) When I know how a trick must be done, but I can't figure out how the performer actually managed to pull it off. Here, there was a guy doing a bird act, and he produced a macaw, and then suddenly there were two of them. HTF do you load a MACAW?
