Read "Shades of A"
"Shades of A" is a comic by Tab Kimpton.  The main character is asexual and a Muslim.  The characters are drawn with different body types.  They have awkward interactions just like real people do, but they still manage to have friends and families.  There is some adult content, asexuality notwithstanding, but it works.

So. Much. Love.  I chugged the whole thing in an evening.

I couldn't get into it. Comics where social situations are the primary conflict turn me off, and I'm not always sure why. I find that stories involving a lot of social awkwardness, or bad social situations caused by inexperience, are triggering for me; even though I don't feel a lot of straight-up fear, I feel shame and embarrassment on behalf of the characters, and that puts me off the story. This happens even with things I'm actually enjoying, such as the movies "Shrek 2" (where Shrek must take the king's place for a while; the family dinner scene was horrifying for me) and "Jack" (where Robin Williams plays a boy who ages incredibly quickly; one scene takes place in a bar, where the title character has been mistaken for a mature adult and gets in trouble for standing up to a bully; the inevitable risk of violence kept me from enjoying the scene at all).
