Poem: "Red Dawn"

This is a poem about colonizing Mars, written in tight little couplets. Feedback is welcome but not required.

"Red Dawn"

Crawlers stop to watch
Sunrise through the notch

Of the canyon –- there,
Bright through Martian air,

Rises distant Sol.
Too soon, a dark squall

Crosses the quick light
With a dust storm’s flight:

Red sky at morning,
Spacer take warning.
