Hurt/Comfort Bingo Card 8-12-13

Below is my second card for the 2013 [community profile] hc_bingo fest. (See my first card.) This fest encourages the creation of boundary-pushing material that explores what happens when things go horribly wrong and people actually care about each other. Remember, things always go wrong; what matters is how you deal with that. Some of the content may be NSFW. Read the FAQ and rules first. The signup post is here.  (See all my bingo cards.)

I thought this might be an effective way to attract some new readers. It's also useful for developing some of my more danger-prone series.

If you'd like to sponsor a particular square, especially if you have an idea for what character, series, or situation it would fit -- talk to me and we'll work something out. This is a good opportunity for those of you with favorites that don't always mesh well with the themes of my monthly projects. I'll still post some of the fills for free, because I'm using this to attract new readers; but if it brings in money, that means I can do more of it. That's part of why I'm crossing some of the bingo prompts with other projects, such as the Poetry Fishbowl.

Ooh. Recently, a friend has gotten me really into the idea of doing a crossover between one of my universes and Pacific Rim, because the two turned out to be very compatible. I was making up new rules for the crossover 'verse, and it might be fun to use one of these H/C cards as a way to make stuff for it. *rubs chin* Yessss, I think I may! I think I will!

This is my second-favorite bingo fest. The one I loved the most, Cottoncandy Bingo, hasn't reopened this year. I really hope someone will host it again sometime.

I just got my card. Ooh, this is going to be SO MUCH FUN. I'm already feeling my brain buzz about the prompts it's giving me...

I'm glad I could help. Some friends got me into this stuff last summer and it has become very useful.

I haven't posted it yet; I'm thinking that I'll clear up Wealthathon first. Once that's off the table, I'll post the Bingo Card. Keep things a little simpler. (Especially since my first prompt is one of the Wealthathon prompts which hasn't gotten sponsored yet.)
