Neat. I have no idea how to use it, but neat.
Use it for revelations where something startling or interesting happens, but it's not necessarily a problem. Say your character gets lost ...

Western story: angst, problem-solve, resolution.

Eastern story: explore, find enlightening idea or majestic view, stumble over way home in the process.

Willow/Tara is a great opportunity for twistfic, especially if you set it near the beginning when they don't know much about each other. Any significant discovery could become the twist.
