Writers Need Conviction

My partner Doug sent me this essay about writing.  To which I will add ...

1) A writer is someone who writes.  If you are writing, then you are a writer.  No conviction required there, just the determination to put words on paper.

2) And sometimes, there you are with a chair in one hand and a flaming hoop in the other, hoping the lion doesn't eat your face.

Thank you - that works now. Interesting article. I do call myself a writer even though I rarely write much these days. I am hoping to do so more in the future, though, once hubby sets me up another WordPress blog to post my writing to (and crosspost to the LJ of course!).
