Update from Kajones_writing

This is a quickie update for time-sensitive material.

[personal profile] kajones_writing has posted the December call for prompts with a theme of "a minute, a year, a lifetime" on Dreamwidth and on LiveJournal. Random number prompts are still welcome if you can't think of something specific. Please drop by and give some inspiration!  The session is supposed to close after midnight on Monday.

Also, I wrote a piece of fanfic about the Lakota vampire John Good Road. "Twilight Memories" deals with his thoughts on the anniversary of the Massacre at Wounded Knee. Warnings for noxious history, John's maker Pádriac (because Pádriac is always a warning), alienation, and self-destructive ideation; but it has a sweeter ending.  This story fills the "twilight" square in my card for the [community profile] darkfantasybingo fest.  Feedback is welcome but not required.

What coincidence? Eh, doesn't matter, just leave some prompts. So far I'm the only one who has.

It's a theme I suggested in response to aldersprig's request (thoug not one she picked up). I'm amused. But I know ~nothing about kajones's writing or world(s), nor do I have cycles with which to pick it up right now.

Okay, that is a nifty coincidence.

This project does come with a nifty shortcut in case of low energy or unfamiliarity. You can just leave one or two numbers and the author will use those to make a random selection. That can turn into pretty interesting stories; people have done it a few times.
